Steady Swim School is committed to teaching water safety, swimming basics, and advanced swimming techniques for people of all ages and abilities in Singapore. We provide private swimming lessons at both public pools and condos to help you learn how to swim at your own pace.
Private swimming lessons mean our qualified swim instructors will travel to your preferred location, whether it be your apartment, condo pool, or a public pool nearby. You will have the opportunity to learn to swim, improve your swimming skills, and understand water safety without the distractions of a group setting. We regularly provide private swimming lessons across Bishan, Sengkang, Heartbeat Bedok, Houngang, Jurong, Yishun, Clementi, Paris Ris, and Punngol swimming complexes.
Our one-on-one swimming lessons are customised to your unique abilities, ensuring you feel comfortable and supported in the water. During your first lesson, we will take the time to understand your current skills and swimming goals to create private swimming lessons tailored to your needs.

03
Are private swimming lessons better than group lessons for kids?
There is no “better” alternative to swimming lessons – both private and group swimming lessons offer children opportunities to develop water confidence and improve water skills. Determining whether private or group swimming lessons are better depends on your child’s preferences and personality.
Private lessons offer children more time with the instructor and space to learn swimming skills. Away from the other kids, your child can learn at their own pace and avoid comparing themselves to those who may learn faster.
Group classes can provide children with a collaborative and social setting to learn to swim. Through group swim lessons, your child can learn through their peers’ encouragement and a healthy competitive edge.
